Is There A Way To Dictate What Slot Your Weapon Goes Into With /Switch?

Like, can I /switch to the item in my 39th slot and place the item I'm swapping out into the 40th slot instead of it automatically going into the 39th?

I don't think there is a way to do this, but I'm asking in case I'm wrong.

I assume the intent here is to reliably rotate between three weapons (or more)

If this is the case I have yet to find a reliable way to do what your asking. So I color-coded my weapons w lusters as a visual cue to know what I'm wielding.

Exactly.

Like I said, I didn't think there was a way, but it was worth a shot.

What you can do is with macro, to switch your entire bar each time you switch weapon, have a different weapon switch macro on each bar.

This is exactly what I do for arrow type rotation from the quiver.

Three identical hotbars, with the exception of slots 9 and 10.

9 is the next thing I want to rotate to. 10 is the /qbar command (1->2, 2->3, 3->1).

Then I make a macro that hits 9 then 10.
