Where to find items for template ?

I have a HIB RANGER and need to strengthen some of my stats. IS THERE A WEBSITE THAT SHOWS WHAT NPC HAVE THE POTENTIAL FOR DROPPING CERTAIN ITEMS......so I know generally where to hunt ?

Just keep farming RoG items. The one off 50+ mobs will help you fill out your template.

make a few /level 40 rangers, youll have a full set of 60+ utility rogs in no time. no point in rog farming with that available.

While the i40 is a great means to get 50+ util RoG's right now, on live you need to activly farm them or buy them from the market. The RoG drops are more or less coded such that if you are soloing you get a higher chance to get armor and weapons and stats on jewlery meant for your class. If you assemble a group you combine this, which can be neat if you are clearing high level content for a chance for higher utility.

Templating on Phoenix is very easy, even before i30 and i40 it was easy to get a template going and since it's RoG's there will always be possibilities to tweak it.

The downside to ROG in templates is they can't be duplicated. No one can tell you which exact items to get because they are unique.

Else you could stick to the items that are available and farmable outside from ROGs on Hib side that would be the Glimmer Bracer for example...
Or you farm enough feathers, get Raid encounter and buy Galla/Dragon Jewelry....

Few Options beside i40 rogs out there

something to keep in mind is that rog drops are class specific too - so farming them with a ani/chanter may not get you the ones you want for a ranger.

My ranger just hit 50 and I was farming mobs with him trying to get some improved ROG items. I got a 70 utility ring to drop ...... with caster stats! Uggggg.

I think the devs said that ROG drops are influenced by the class that killed the mob, but not 100% only for that class. I know that I get other class stuff when out on the Necro.

If you get a house you can sell it on merchant. That is, if you haven't already sold it to npc.
Edit: another place to check is for other ROGs on the housing merchant

Best place to get high level RoGs is in the raids. There are item level 90+ that drop there. Also this has the plus side of keeping people engaged in raid content for a long time so that more and more people can get the raid credits.
At the same time as trying your luck on the 70-90+ items you will be getting 8-10k feathers per run to buy specific raid drop items at the feather merchants in the capitals
