I find myself late at night in Avalon City in a boring feather farm fest in a full group all the time. The group typically consists of 2-3 fresh 40s afk the entire time, while cabby, wizzy, cleric do all the work.
Feathers are a great currency for items on Phoenix. It was a superb idea.
Why not make them drop a lot more often and at higher rates in the Frontiers? Why not add that risk/reward element to zones that are not commonly frequented.
What if Hadrians Wall had feather farming spots? What about Mount Collory? It would create more RvR in Frontier Zones like this and give an alternative to players who are forced to afk feather farm in dungeons like Avalon City.
Think how many levelers head into the frontiers to do xp tasks? They have the incentive to do so. The risk is there, but the reward outweighs it.
Bringing feather drops more consistently to the Frontiers could be great for RvR and feather farming in general.
imagine at launch when the few known PvE feather farm spots are going to be camped constantly. Players can head to the Frontiers as an alternate and get some feathers there.
