Infi PA 2k+ - Phoenix Freeshard

Hi,

i just made a PA with over 2k dmg, maybe I m a noob and i can t read numbers and this post is useless....
Pls help me to understand the the combat log.

You did a PA for 1032 dmg with your mainhand.
The number above is just the style modifier. Without resists you would have done 1429 dmg

Unfortunately you are going to encounter a fair amount of low quality users like this guy on any DAoC forums.

You are almost always going to want lifebane on your main hand so you get it off right away every time you start combat. Depending on your target you will want to prioritize different poisons. A lot of targets wont require disease at all. This is just going to take time to learn.

I'd advise doing DoT MH/con debuff offhand in most cases if you aren't weapon swapping. It's all about damage and the dot+con debuff is an additional couple hundred damage right off the bat. Depending on your game plan and your target this might change, but those are the two most universally effective poisons.

I have dot as a porc on my mainhand, that s why i don t use lifebane on it. i have str / con debuff as a charge on my feet.

so what poison should i use on wich hand ?

you put at least ws/con debuff on opener because thats slipping way several hundret hp

btw wtf 1k pa? thorak was what kind of class? ist it a caster? but still thats feels off somehow

I typically do NOT run ws/con debuff on mainhand because the debuff then eats all of your PA damage. Usually I run dot mh, disease ofhand. ws/con debuff is 1st weapon swap vs a melee opponent, otherwise snare or dot again. I will switch poisons on mh/of on the fly before inc if able, e.g. disease mh dot offhand for a BD, as landing disease is critical vs them. Snare vs minstrel, ws/con vs an opponent with slam etc.

I don t know his class, he has a chain armor.

As i i said, i have dot as a proc on mainhand. so it s useless to do a lifebane on it right?

No, the poison dot from lifebane and your weapon dot proc will stack.

1k on chain is def too high! even with thrust bonus vs chain
yesterday i did some testing with a nightshade vs my warden, the NS did about 600 with pa

weapon speed, if they had haste.. what their quickness is.. so many things effect initial PA damage.

I don t know, I m max cap temped and all my crafted items are MP. I always use full buff potions.

I don t feel like the pa dmg is to high.

well im geared in drops with my warden i i dont get such high PAs and over 1k is too high vs chain armor that im pretty sure!
