Impressions after one month of playing

I feel like this server has a good potential to be viable. There are bugs and maybe minor mistakes by design.
I use the term maybe because design and game mechanics are a question of preferences and what you are looking for.
At overal i believe the staff is doing a excellent job and are highly motivated to provide a good gamefield.
So far I played following classes on this server: Shaman & Spiritmaster both in endgame. Thane & Healer in leveling.

Anyway here are my findings so far that have impact on my personal playstyle that I would declare as design-mistakes.

- Buffpots, they are much to easy to use and strong. The pots harm some classes like Paladin, or make the class much easier to play like a bard that does not have to actively care about endurance anymore.
- Buffrange for shaman endurance: 1000 units are a joke, together with the posibility to use a potion this buff is obsolete.
- RA: SOS this should be overworked. I mean it doesnt break if you do a offensive action? This is a perfect "I winn" button. (there was a reason in original Daoc they removed this)
- Thane: Actually the Thane can not improve his casting abilities with RA's. but isnt this exactly what thanes are looking for? beeing a shield class with magic abilities.

Please for those that do not agree with me, take this post as opinion and not as a invite for trolling.

Are you sure Shaman endo range is 1000? I haven't played one here but I feel like the endo buff cast range itself might be 1000, but the effect should have 2k range once you have the buff on you.

Yep. Endu (effect) range is just 1k
