What level poison can my assasin use ?

He's level 34. He has trained envenom to 30 and has plus envenom items bringing him to 30+ 7= 37. I thought he could use poisons to 34(my characters level) but another told me I could use poisons to 37. Please tell me what I can, and cannot use.

I can't tell you for sure. I would recommend just trying a level 37 poison. Poison is cheap so wouldn't hurt. And if you can't just stick it in vault

Well, then please report it if it was not reported yet. Poison level should be the proc level. Hence if you use lvl 37 poison the proc lvl is also 37 and should not be useable by a lvl34 ns.

But the max poison which is possible with 30+7 is indeed 37. But only for a toon being lvl 37+

Maybe they changed it with the restriction "poison only for assassins". But if you could use 37 poison with 34 you may be possible to use lvl50 lifebane with a lvl 24?!

Or did i miss something? Are you no longer able to trade poisoned weapons? As this might be okay then, as you have to spec poison accordingly

You cannot use a poison that is higher level than your character. That's always been the case.

35+15 allows you to use level 50 poisons, as long as you're level 50.
