I am very disappointed in the strength of the specced Druid pet. I have a level 34 druid with level 32 pet spell. The pet is literally grey to me when called, level 25. I cannot believe you enhance things like thane spells, put friar and paladin on near full melee damage tables, increase hunter pet(which has 2.0 Spec/Lvl), and etc and do not address such a obvious hole in 1.65.
Nature has no baseline damage and you have to spec even for a SINGLE target DoT in nature and the one buff they get from nature being baseline to every caster in hib(damage shield). I understand that maybe it doesn't affect 8v8 gameplay because the druid can fill a spot easily just by rooting rupt and healing, but how exactly is it okay for their spec points to be wasted on such a crap spec that only reason to spec it is for instant roots? I don't expect much to be done but just a small bit of love to make it closer to balanced would be nice. Anything from a damage add buff to making their pet not complete garbage are my suggestions.
Feel free to explain why the current state of the game doesn't need a druid that can even think about being anything than your cookie cutter idea of what druids should be and what-naught.
