Had plenty of fights where 1 Min would not have been enough. Leave the timer as it is, just make the disease lift 10 seconds after the one who applied it has died... that would be a reasonable compromise.
That might work in solo but not grp play. You can just reapply disease if 1 min isn't enough.
You can only reapply disease after the effect has run out, which means I need more weapons to reapply and must be aware of it running out at 60 seconds. This only results in more liability on my side and is a nerf, not a compromise.
In a group situation you should be able to cure disease, if not than most likely some sort of kiting will happen and the reduced timer would only be a disadvantage for the sin, again.
