Bard spec? - Phoenix Freeshard

Never played a bard. Rolled one and it's a blast.

I am guessing 43 nurture is automatic.

How far in music do you spec? 38? 43? 47?

My Bard was
43 Nuture
37 Music for insta AoE mezz, not sure why you'd go to 38.
33 Regrowth
And I've been toying around leveling one here and doing this spec.

The alternate may be 43 Music for red casted AoE mezz by lowering Regrowth.

For smallman and 8v8 you should get 10 blades for the snare.

Than wathever you want, is irrelevant. Id still take 43 buff for red speed.

Than wathever you want, is irrelevant. Id still take 43 buff for red speed.

I guess that's true. Tri-spec (33rej, 43nurt, 37music) or 16rej, 43nurt, 47music probably won't be a deal breaker as folks will be looking for speed for the most part in a Zerg. I can always Respec to what feels good for play style. Just really can't see any spec besides those two for "best" overall...

if its mostly for zerg-play i would probably go with the 33regrowth spec. often mezzes in zergfights only last very short anyways as they are used as entries to get ae-dmg on a nice clump. so healing is a big part of the bards job there. and oftetimes groups in the zerg are not optimal and having the extra heal-power comes in handy if your group lacks other heal-classes or the other healers are rupted by gtao/siege weapons.

Short question about Bard vs theurg in rvr: does Amnesia have any effect on casted theu-Pets? like forgot to attack Target? or is only confusion the way to do?

Amnesia will put ice pets into melee mode (unless it's been changed), but has no effect on earth or air pets.

Confusion insta-kills any theurg pet.
