Buff management help

I was recently playing a shaman in a RvR group. Various members of the group did not want specific buffs because they preferred to use their self buffs. The main one being endurance buff because the range is poor, so some people want to just use their own pot. However, if they use an endurance pot and I accidentally cast the endurance buff on them, my buff would overwrite their own, and I now have a grumpy group mate.
Could there be a way for the player to reject my buff or allow them to mark their buff as the preferred one and not allow my buff to overwrite? I ended up grabbing a pencil and paper and writing down what buffs people wanted. There should be a better way.
What do other shamans do to manage the buffs they give?

Every player can shift right click a buff to drop it... if that’s their perogitive.

I think end regen pots are causing a lot of problems tho they are super convenient... would be nice if they stacked with class end regen like the speed stacks and over writes... maybe that’s in the queue to do?

In this particular scenario, the player used their endurance pot, I then cast the endurance buff on them, overwriting their pot. They then had to cancel my buff (shift right click, as you said) and use a second endurance pot.

Yeah it’s annoying :/

That’s why they should just stack and grey out the worst one like they’re doing with speed buffs.

I'm guessing the issue is that the shaman buff is actually better/stronger than the endurance potion, but because they have tireless 1 and LW1, the stronger buff isn't needed and actually less desired.

Maybe I am explaining myself wrong... I realize what is going on and why people don’t want his buff.... end4 is > end5 when it never goes out of range or drops cuz shaman dies.....

What I want is if end regen pots going to stay in game then have both buffs stay on character and the system only use the highest one that is available (range)... just like it greys over hastener speed when you have skald speed playing

I like your solution. From your keyboard to the dev's ears!

However, I do appreciate people using endurance pots because it frees up one of the 20 buffs for other things. Casters, for example, like dex/qui, str/con and acuity. No way they get all three if I’m handing out 8 endurance buffs.

We’ll end buffs should have never cost as much conc as they do... remember running 2 shamans on origins to get everyone buffed
