Animists viable again?

Not trying to cause an argument or confrontations or anything. Last year Phoenix put a HUGE nerf on animist pet damage, and I took a break for a while.

Right or wrong, whatever, not gonna argue.

Has the class changed at all or gotten any better since then? The DAoC bug is biting me again, I have the itch, just want to know if it's a class worth picking up again.

So there was no severe damage nerf last year in which I saw my dps severely dropped.

So either you didn't read my initial post or you're denying that any nerf existed. Either way, you refused to answer the question in my op, but instead of accomplishing the same by just staying silent, you decided to be irritating. Clearly your version of viability is not the same as mine. Well I get to try out the "foe" block feature for the first time. Thanks.
