Hibernia and the death of Daoc

Your team has done a wonderful job at improving and improvising this wonderful game. But with that. How are you going to change 20 years of Hibernia dominance. Now in the beginning Midgard aka stungard was broken. But now its just wrong again. Perfect example is PK. 2 x Inta amnesia 2 x AOE single Mezz 1x tangler shroom. 2x caster stun equals a none winnable fight. 1. you can not run to get away 1800 amnesia 2. Can not extend tangler pets that moc cast root with no cure. 3. Can not fight un mezzed 60 second time purge every 5 minutes. After mezz tangler then stun dd then mezz again. 4 can not interupt with Two interrupt with two amnesia classes and nearsighted casters. Its becoming new meta. We have tried to retain our realm but we are reduced to waiting till the other realm. Has logged so we can just take a keep.
The above is only an example of a well oiled rr12 group and i wish i had there skill. But they are countering all attempts of rvr and now friends and family are quiting.

Because of the dominance phoenix is turning into live servers hib dominance. Please look at what can be done before another daoc dies. Thank you and keep up the good work.

P.s. wanted to make sure im not saying a 8 man ruined the server. Saying all the fights are becoming really hard from the change in meta. And no way to counter rock paper scissor.
Ps.s we are reduced to flag hunting and tower taking for a few k rps a day. Please help

The realms are very well balanced, the devs can't help that Albs are dumb and that mid would rather 8 man CG.

Population =/= realm balance...
It's the weakest realm, but we have the bg pilzpower and a mobilzed population, that's two different things.
You don't need to have the best classes when you fight 1.5 or 2 to 1...

Mid has half of the population doing tasks, blame Maxisto for that.

I have 8 level 50s all rr 3-6 in Mid, and 5 (I think) rr 3-5 in Hib. And one 50 in Alb. I see both sides. How about you? Got any Hibs, or maybe just complaining because the current state of affairs hasn’t been good for you?

The thing is the zerg, PIlzpower just goes and goes and goes and everyone follows him, the Hib BG is a shambles when he isn't on, it's just that he is on, a lot

Just think how much worse it would be if he waited for the zerg to group up and buff up rather than just sprinting off to the next target?

The prime time hib zerg is a zerg bomb groups wet dream, it often extends from one keep to another, a big long line of stragglers.

As I said earlier, there is nothing the devs can do about the lack of leadership in MId and the lack of braincells in Alb.

10 lvl 50 Albs, ALL rr3-rr7
10 lvl 50 Mids, ALL rr3-rr6
9 lvl 50 Hibs, ALL rr3-rr6

I know some people have more and some less, but I DO SEE the coin from ALL sides! I have ALL the cheese classes(Necro, Animitard, BD), all stealth classes, all the Caster Classes, 2-3 speed classes, 2-3 Tank classes, (reaver, zerk, savage, Pally, Shammy) hybrid classes, and only 1 healer class(43 druid).

Want to compare more?

Zerg balance is mostly depending on consistency of Zergleaders, all 3 realms had dominant performances in the last half year. Hibernia has the most consistent Zergleader with Pilzpower at EU time, and Polemo is starting to perform about the same for Alb.

Midgard currently lacks a EU time zergleader, that's all. They have players enough and zergbalance between the realms is as close as it gets to be.

Alb and Hib are about equal in open field and keepfights and Mid has a massive edge in open field fights and choke points (aoe stun aoe dd).

In 8v8 Alb body train has been the dominant grpcomp for a long time, ever since the Bard nerf things have been going worse and worse for hib 8men, as they now are outnumbered in long range rupt vs both realms, even vs mid tankers.

Nevertheless, there is still more than one playable comp for all realms and teams win with different lineups in 8v8.

since amnesia nerf for bard have hibernia most time none Hib Group GVG/List! thx to staff for nerf Hibernia ;-) and without lastman standing i wouldnt
play on this server more because i dont found last two weeks hib group for 8vs8 roaming ;-/.
