my suggestion: buff SBs and make PA + Viper great again. the archery buffs are brutally insane (and they can finally use a specline) and I am still forced to play LA instead of CS because of the huge diffrence. to all of that please fix the trippledot bug where the dot deals less damage for no reason. and its not only the nerfs to assassins that make them weak. the mastery of pain changes are also a huge nerf especially on low RR now and speccing viper below 5 isnt worth it as well.

You guys are doing just fine by the numbers. Sure looking at it in your skewed THOUSANDS of hours behind the wheel on a sin, it looks like you are nerfed into the ground. But real world application, still winning multitudes more fights over anything archers are doing. "bUt yOuu r sHoOtiNg HaRD..." Any archer that embraced the change is now dealing with at most 18 weapon. Just look at it by numbers of solo kills in the last 48 hours, 1 archer in the top 100. QQ harder. Complaining about a single class type finally having legs is more of the worrisome QQ I see coming from the likes of you sins. Yall have been fine since day 1, and today is no different. You are all still getting your kills and may have to play a smidge smarter. But in no version of this server have you sins been underpowered in anyway.
assassins are not exactly bad here, imo quite balanced. hell you can kill full tanks! and any caster you easts a pa will die if you dont fuck it up really dont know whats the problem.
but yeah maybe feels bad to see rr1 scouts hit you for 900 now /vote nerf archers

Nice one though. If you took the time to look up that character, you should have invested a little more time in looking at the numbers to see that I don't actually play that toon. I shot 1 person to test dmg and then shelved it.
I think the Critical Strike line had been nerfed. The damage from the stealth attacks in this line feels very low. I remember stealthers SB were when landing the Backstab properly should have the opponent at 20% or less HP. Only tank should have that 27%-34% absorb and those extra hp protecting them.
I will try again sb in thid today, to give some numbers.
Backstab 2 on a noob caster: 285 (-31) or +218 style damage with a 2-hander
Perforate Artery on a geared scout: 138 (-24) or +97 style damage with the same 2-hander
Perforate Artery on a sitting geared caster: 391(-69) or +277 style damage
Comments: I have 21+5 in critical strike and my weapon is 10.5 DPS; PA style damage is supposed to be based on critical strike spec (source=Perforate Artery Cap = 75 + Critical Strike Spec * 9 + Damage Cap) so at minimum my perforate artery should do 350damage before resist and absorb. So at minimum on a scout, who is neutral to slash, I should do around 305 damage, which is more than 2 times what I actually did on that scout. So either the usual formula sourced above is now wrong, or there is a bug.
Overall, the assassins feel strong in 1v1 when they land their stealth attack and poison, but it feels vastly different at least in thid, where the stealthers used to dominate, with 80% stealthed attack damage. Now you have 80% chance of losing vs a caster that is geared. Depends on resist of his quickcast spell and his reaction time.
