Get task RPs when logged out - Phoenix Freeshard

Hi folks,

Is there a world where we might be able to allow for logged out characters to get RPs for completed tasks? It's kind of silly that at the end of an RvR night the best thing to do is afk until you get auto logged out so you don't miss a tick. Would be nice to be able to shut down my computer at night and not feel like I'm missing out.

similarly, it feels punishing to end an RvR night and not be able to play an alt to wind down before the night without having your main lose RPs.

Even if there was a command to cash out before logging, that's be fine, although not sure all known variables are known before a given task ends.

Anyway, thanks for all you do. Not the biggest deal in the world but if is practical to implement, would be a welcome QOL change Thanks for reading.

I like this idea!!!! Let me log all my guys, turn in 50 snow and log out and just enjoy the free RP's =)

I can do that on 8 guys every 25ish minutes while socializing!!!

They can’t/won’t do it because of multiple toons being able to get reward. I was asking about it simply because of losing tic because of zoning.

Easy way to prevent that: if the account is Offline (or
in character select/loading screen) only the most recent character eligible for task credit recieves RP for the tick

imo you should also lvl while being logged out, creating a char must be enough. remember pokemon on gameboy? when you stored the pokemon you were currently not using, someone in the pokecenter took care of that

and if you do a break of lets say 1 year you should also get all the task rp of that time because potentionally you could have participated in that.... its not your fault the game automaticly disconnects you after 1h anyway^^

what you are commenting on is nowhere close to what OP is asking for

he isn't suggesting to get task-ticks for being AFK, he is asking for getting task-ticks for participation that had already happened, and you are aware of that

I use a program to shut my computer down when a task is due.
It will make us players use less electricity, while getting rid of people staying afk in the relic town. How is this not a win?

Google “command prompt computer shutdown timer” this solves your issue

Yes, making it apply to only one character would probably be required to prevent abuse. It'd be silly to give an incentive to log in and out of toons within a 15 minute period. Definitely not looking to do that.

On every evening with guild and ally it ends with every1 staying afk in frontier town till the tasks reward hits. Would be a QoL-patch to reward the last toon eligable for the task with the rps.
