Celerity - Phoenix Freeshard

Since the devs are balancing styles across realms, can we do the same with celerity? Add it to the pally dmg chant and give it to wardens, as well. This will not only had fotm balance, but also create more diverse group setups opening play to a wider range of class selection for pve and rvr

Let's just mirror realms, classes abilities and all RAs while we are at it. Take away all dyes and weapon skins. Use only starter weapons and gear.

looks like we got more stuff to give to every realm before we achieve true balanced fairness

Mid has celerity the way they do because they are the melee realm. They need it to keep up with the magic of the other two realms. However they need an Aug healer in a group.

Alb does not need the theurgist in the group. But there are less of these than healers probably. And there is no rp incentive to buff outside the group.

Hib only has the druid to buff haste, but there are lots of these. This is more restricted than alb though since it is conc spell. Also, like thuergist there is no incentive to buff outside the group.

Bring flute to skalds btw. They were supposed to have flutes... true story. Read old articles what the devs had planned
And shapeshifting for druids was also mentioned... xd

i have no idea why youd want spear on champ. annihilate > st > annihilate > woc pretty much kills any stealther. not to mention you get crush and slash weaps.

You missunderstand me ^_^, i had on live server spear of kings LW with pierce dmg :-D.

Dont agree with cele for all realms.....and its not OP like some ppl think. Midgard have it very hard against hib and special Alb caster groups. And to get Cele running you have to go in front as mainhealer and cast the Cele spell....Paladin/warden would get it instand i bet, and that would be too unfair.

Kind of like how skalds get their songs insta and bards and minstrels have to cast them?

Also on live wardens have to cast it or it was changed few times? At later patches it became instant because they merged dmg-add and cele i believe. Only paladins got it as instant from the beginning

I believe this is backwards. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe initially Warden had instant chant celerity, then it was later changed to a spell, for the full value. The value attached to the DA chant was only 15% last I played Live. Though I admit this was a long time ago.

Do you remember when Albs were the only realm with SoS? what happened there XD
I just with celerity didn't drop damage by a good aug str 9 worth of damage for the warrior.
Did 524 with ragnorok on Krypt, next time I saw him I was in a group and had celerity, and it dropped to 482. I do love the speed though. but since when was kinetic energy supposed to lower impact damage? XD physics is a B
