/friend account - Phoenix Freeshard

Can we have this? similar to /housefriend account but for friends list. to see if this person is online or not on an alt.

I think this is a bad idea. What about those people who wish to seperate their characters from each other. Roleplayers for example, they might play completely different character types.
On the "Other" server there was one guy i really disliked, he grated on me. However he had another character(I didnt know at the time) who i got on well with and quite liked. He roleplayed them, nothing wrong with that, they were seperate entities. I was surprised when i found out.

Perhaps some people have secret characters, that they choose to play when they want a break and dont want to be made to feel guilty that they dont want to play the required class missing from the otherwise perfect guild rvr group.

A /friend account command will take away some of the privacy of the players from each other, plus make it easier for players to be stalked and harassed.

To answer your entire post - have the other person accept the account friend request. This is 2020. That's how all friend adds are now anyway. Your weird boner for anonymity can be achieved by simply refusing the friend request.

It also eats away at the illusion of population when you realize how many players are just 1 dude
