Gil, that is not the solution. We do not need to pay ppl to stay here.
He wanted to point out one particular thing. In fact he was not paying attention whilst using a service. After the 'shock' he tried to revoke his decision by appealing which got denied. After the 'final' verdict he decided on asking in forums for a bug related while knowing perfectly that his situation derives from a mistake he made.
Fiddling a 'I will quit the game' to the end of a post/discussion is socially known as begging for help with a bit more pressure.
He knows perfectly that he would need time to cover his loss, mabe 1-2 weeks assuming his given playtime. But he is not willing to do so. He is more like the guy,
I made a mistake and if others don't help it I will leave.Honestly, if he'd stated in the end something like
'could someone group me and help me gaining back a bit of money' I would have given him 5pp. - Just for his attitude on solving his problem and to care for carry on!

How would you react if, going on Amazon to rent a movie, you find out 2500 Dollars less in your bank account as you apparently bought a box of yellow buttons from North Korea?
Would you be happy if calling the Customer Service someone will respond to you that: "Customers use the web market at their own risk" ?
Why do you think in the EU there is the right to change idea on a product and give it back?
Even more, in this case, do you think it is ok that I had NO intention to buy that item, even less to pay that amount, and that I only realized afterwards?
To me this is would be a fraud to the customer.
It was the second time in my life I was going on the market, as you know you cannot go RvR without a Shaman in a group if you do not use End potions. I was not aware of that risk AT ALL. I was not asked to put anything on the plate, I was not asked to confirm anything. I was not at a player house but with the Market Explorer. I only bought the elisir barrel. ONLY THAT. I am sure.
And by the way I was not "Fiddling" anything, I am just disappointed from the poor level of the game and of the customer support.: what I learnt in my life so far is that if you are not happy with a product or a customer, the most appropriate response is stop buying or using it. That is all.
And I can tell: I am genuinely and truly demotivated.
Also, I can tell: the gesture from Marc made me reconsider my intention , which obviously would have been not the case when I read your post, so poor, superficial and allusive.
Last thing: it's spring, I have two boys and a busy work, should I really explain further why I quit the game after the outcome of that appeal???
