Why not remove 'See Hidden' from mobs?
I've had blue, green and grey mobs "uncover me" while stealth.

Fuck that. What could this be used for other than to make it easier to get to enemy sides in DF so you can gank lowbie XPers and pretend to be a badass.

No doubt this is why asked

You can hug aggro mobs more tightly when hiding from visibles hunting you and cut down the chance of grey mobs uncovering

A high stealth rogue would also be able to stalk groups/raids in SH, DF worm tunnel, and DF below gatekeeper

Shouldn't be easier to hide from real fights while picking fights entirely with chanceless victims. I don't know the exact chances of grey mobs uncovering, but grey players can uncover so I don't see too much of a problem here. If there are grey mobs around where you're hunting... well, we know what you're doing.

Literally no one will ever do that. Besides that lets take DF as an example: you want stealth so good you can sneak past the gatekeeper??? Have you seen how tiny the clearance is in that doorway? That would be unstoppable stealth.

Your suggestions just make it clearer that I was right in my assumption. Honestly, I think a better suggestion is to further reduce RPs earned from lower level enemies, doubling the reduction if they're PvE engaged. Also, not count solo kills against anyone below your own level, starting from lvl 40 (so it wouldn't affect BGs).

Not sure if it matters.
You have enemies crossing into areas killing xpers who are engaged with mobs with no xp. They like to be a nuisance or they think they are good killing lowbies.

I did it on Genosis* by tailing a fg as they cleared mobs. It was impossible walk back to entrance and they caught on to me being near when a mob they were killing uncovered me from across the room at prince ramp. I followed them down to worm and tried to kill a chanter while they were inside the loopong stun but their bard purged.

The gatekeeper is just a red mob, real problem is the chthonic knight below him

Nonetheless taking your stealth beyond 50 eats points. My suggestion isn't playing with stealth curve but permitting its effect to continue beyond 50 for PvE detection. You'd need 61 stealth for the DF circuit purples to have same detection as a lv50 mob vs 50 comp stealth. The knights between gatekeeper and legion vary from 62 to 68s, and the knights near princes are 72-74ish. Achieving 70 stealth requires 50 spec stealth & and RR10

I see a bit better what you mean, but I still feel the usefulness of it (beyond my initial assumption) is too limited to need addressing. As for being uncovered across rooms or too easily by greys, again, I can't comment but a video of this would be interesting to see.

Would also be interesting to see/hear other ideas of how higher stealth spec could be made more enticing, though at the same time I think no one would take advantage of it unless it was something exceptional.

I’d like to see something significant to have stealth classes opt for higher ranks of stealth instead of dropping it every RR.
I’d also like to see Envenom work on spec not on composite, in addition to only allowing weapon swap from dual wield to two handed. NO SWAPPING from inventory.
Of course a damage buff of some sorts would be needed to offset this.

Stealth is already uncapped against mobs and has been that way since some time in beta. Stealth spec reduces detection radius and uncover chance, mob level increases those two and the radius has a minimum of 125 that cannot be further reduced, regardless of mob level or stealth spec. The uncover chance that is rolled against every tick (750ms in this case) still decreases with higher stealth spec as well as distance from the mob but that also can't ever reach zero.
