Thats it thats the whole suggestion.

You do realize SH only has one entrance. There is no other entrance.Kurbsen wrote: ↑Mon 9 Nov 2020 12:06 AMso the raid leader posted the time and date of when a frontier pve raid was gonna happen... and doesnt expect there to be enemies waiting upon arrival? lol wat... if only you woulda sent one person to zone in first to check if it was clear ^^, if it wasnt then just go thru another entrance lol

Sorry Maximus, I don't understand your argument.
They added a timer but removed it because of people crying about campers???? Please elaborate.
This is a discussion about putting an immunity at the entrance of SH so we don't get instantly wiped when zoning in. I believe they have guards at the enterance of PoC to stop camping there which I believe they could add to SH so we don't have people exploiting those area's.

It is not that easy to implement. You cant just put in an immunity at certain places like SH entrance for example. We had before a general timer, that a player could not be attacked for a certain amount of time after logging into the game. This was abused by classes (of all realms) that were logging into the keeplord room while a huge zerg was in there, raiding it. Throwing a twf/maelstorm and wipe whole zergs this way.
After the removal, the campers (from all realms) found the poc entrance as their new playground and started camping there and farming people while zoning in. So we implemented the "move or die"-areas right at the entrance of the poc. But that made the campers (from all realms) move a little further and waiting there for the players to kill them. So we put in the poc guardians, which are high level but neutral and reduced camping to a minimum. But increased the complains of pve groups that accidentaly pulled them while xping there.
As you can see, it is not that easy to just implement a timer there as it may offers new options. SH has never been a problem since yesterday. To make one thing pretty clear: it is not an abuse or x-realming if the players only had the public infos from our discord channel. Else we had to ban any raid on keeps/relics while an epic dungeon/dragon raid was announced and is going on. If they had players that were logged in to Albion and were reading the bg chat and/or doing /who to get the location of the BG and gave those infos to them, that would have been a bannable reason. But we need a solid proof for that and not just accusations.
Long story short, we will have an internal discussion about that topic but im really not sure if we will change a thing. For now my advice would be as already mentioned by someone else before: one player should port in before the zerg and check if the entrance is free from enemies.
Solicfear wrote: ↑Mon 9 Nov 2020 8:23 AMAs you said Uthred best not to post this on DAoC phoenix discord as it's a place for players to take advantage on other realms. I appreciate your efforts trying to help us bg leaders advertise our raids but its kind of backfired on us yesterday and was a huge mistake for me to advertise it.

If they were reacting to plan changes and always awaiting you, then they surely couldn't have been relying on official discount advertisement you did before the raid.
Crossrealming is insanely hard to prove, unless one of the people doing it admits to it. If proof of outside/thirdparty tool communication is the requirement needed to get someone investigated for it, it will never happen

I got info that they were waiting there from the beginning of my Legion raid cus Hibs got killed at the entrance while we were in Darkness Falls. Anyhow, there has been other situations where Ive planned a raid and other realms have used info on Phoenix discord to plan relic raids. Luckily, Albs had enough to stop hibs from doing so but there has been previous occasions where I've ran a Sidi/Dragon raid where hibs/mids took advantage on scheduled raids put in Phoenix discord.
It's probably best from now on not to plan raids and do it 'spur-of-the-moments' type of event which I plan to possibly do for future events.
