Hi just wondering if you plan on nerfing this style stun duration or will it remains on a 9 sec duration ? 🤔 Thx for your answer 😇

No idea if it's getting nerfed but didn't this specific stun have it's own lockout duration? Could swear it had like a 30 second lockout on reuse on that target or something to counter the insanely long stun.

There are currently no style effect changes planned.

We will however change the opening requirements for classes that cannot (likely) fulfill a requirement, for example after parry for classes without parry will be changed to something else.

There is no lockout. THat would be obscene. The payoff for getting Dragonfang is the fact that you have to spec to 50 in that line.

If you're going to nerf Dragonfang, make sure you nerf other long stuns, such as Slam, which is 9 seconds which is an Anytime, or Annihilate, which only requires you be Behind the target.

But then, nerfing any of these styles would be foolish and unnecessary. I am glad the team has no plans to do so.

Diminishing returns, that's what i was trying to say. They made this and the other long duration ones have their own diminishing returns debuff that was stupid long to keep people from chaining them. Which was the payoff for landing one.

I'll wait for a Dev to mention whether there will be any kind of DR or Stun Immunity.

However, you keep saying phrases like 'stupid long' as if to imply the stun is unbalanced or a bad game mechanic. It's not stupid and it's not unbalanced. The game NEEDS strong tools like this to make it fun.

Except it doesn't, in the 9 seconds most non-tank classes end up gibbed to hell. Any geared SB/infil/NS is going to wreck your shit in under 9 seconds and personally i always believed the long stuns/messes took so much AWAY from the game play and fun aspects.

That is your opinion and not one shared by either the Mythic Team or the Phoenix team, nor the majority of the playerbase that I've interacted with over the course of more than 16 years.

This is a normal melee stun, just like slam. There is nothing special about, like for all melee stuns det or similar will not work on it.

We have the 1.65 immunity duration: always 60 seconds regardless of the duration of the causing cc effect. We also have the default 1.65 stun durations: Dragonfang is a 9 second stun.
