Does shield size affect block chance for dashing defense with multiple attackers? I've heard people say yes and people say no, just hoping we can maybe get an official clarification, thanks!

Shield size increases the block chance for projectiles only.
Melee block rate does not scale with shield size, but the count of attackers that can be blocked simultaneously (=small time frame) does increase with shield size.

Dashing Defense is an extended 'guard' ability.
All block/parry calculations are made against the player that used DD. Shield size matters for the simultaneously attacks to block (attacker count), but not the chance to block.

TL;DR: Yes, shield size matters for DD, but not to increase block chance but to increase amount of attackers that can be blocked.

Thanks for the information, Just to clarify one thing:

While dashing defense is running, 3different party members being attacked by 1attacker each are calculated the same as 3attackers attacking one target?

Or is each partymember being calculated individually as a singular person that is guarded and is being attacked by their respective attackers?

Was pretty sure another dev said guard does NOT take into account shield size for the amount of blockers. Also my experience has been 3 enemies simultaneously on 1 target, hero uses dashing defense, proceeds to block a shit ton for the 1 target.

It is my experience (from live mostly, but a bit here) that shield size doesn't affect guard block rate.

If Dashing Defense is an extension of guard.
I thought you can guard an unlimited amount of attackers.
Thus shield matter does not increase amount of attackers that can be blocked?
