Welcome to the Arena!
Starting next week we’ll try an arena rotation with different group sizes. Next week we’ll start with 1v1, the week thereafter will be 4v4 and the week after that it will be 8v8.
For now we’ll do 2 rotations and then reevaluate the effects.
Stats are tracked and depending on the participation those will be made available at a later point either on the Herald or something else.
The Arena will be open the following days 8pm CET to midnight CET and from 8pm EST to midnight EST:
1vs1
March 15th, April 9th
4vs4
March 26th, April 12th
8vs8
March 29th, April 23rd
Basic rules:
1. Port to the Arena safe zone via the Registry Npc in your local border keep
2. You are now RR7. do /train and distribute your realm points (only if this character is the first time in the Arena)
3. The group leader has to click <register> on the registry npc to list your group for fights
4. As soon as a group has been found to fight you, you will get ported to an instance
5. Get ready for the fight, pets will spawn automatically on classes that can charm a pet
6. Both group leaders have to do /arena ready
7. After a best of 3, both groups will be ported back to the safe zone
8a. If you want to fight again, just wait until the next fight starts
8b. If you want to stop, type /arena unregister and leave the zone via the teleporter
Matches are a best of 3 with cool downs / RAs only resetting between matches. The up to 3 rounds are back to back in the same arena location.
Useful Commands:
/arena ready: Ready up in preparation phase, must be used by group leader (after you got ported to the fight location)
/arena unregister: Cancels registration when not in a tournament or stops auto queue when currently in a tournament
/arena autoqueue: Enables automatically queueing again after a tournament is over. If you don't use this command, you have to register again after a tournament is over.
/arena queued: Lists all teams of all sizes that are queued for a tournament.
/arena current: Infos about the current tournaments
/arena info: shows arena instruction text
/arena list: shows a list of all groups by names (8man only feature)
/arena list classes: lists all groups by classes (8man only feature)
Rewards:
Arena participation counts towards participating in the general participation task. Arena kills count towards kill tasks. There is a reward at the end of each round.
