Solo PVE Class with Least Downtime

Looking for a good solo PVE class that can go from one mob to another without much downtime if any. Would BD be the way to go or any other suggestions?

Necro. No other class gets close to that.
Go full deathsight. Lifetap (for dmg) and use the manatap when needed. Shade casted life tap if stuff gets to you.

Mid- suppression Bonedancer

Hib - Creeping animist

Although neither comes close to the necro in terms of downtime (which necro has pretty much none)

PvE in Phoenix is pretty straightforward compared to the old DAoC - solo leveling is fastish for almost all classes and if you include the collection tasks and switch mobs to do the kill tasks you can advance really fast.

So if you really are all out for solo PvE, then go ahead and play one of the aforementioned classes, but the advantage is not nearly as pronounced as it was in classic DAoC and thus you could play almost anything and still be pretty fast to level.

Cabalist also has near zero downtime with it's pet recycling mechanic. Essentially the downtime is the time it takes to cast your pet and recycle it 3 times

Casting 3 pets then recycling sounds like a waste of time. You could be sitting with serenity + power pot ticking and get to more than full from empty in that time. That being said, it sounds like your method is slower than every other caster.

Yeah, no. Cabalist recycling is faster than what you just posted. Considerably.

Secondly, a Cabalist can pull an entire camp of 20 mobs and aoe them down, recycle three times and then pull another 20. They're ridiculously fast to level.

By far the fastest solo PvE class is the Deathsight Necromancer, hands down.

Downtime is exactly zero, killtime per yellow mob is roughly 10 seconds.

This is old Uthgard/Classic mentality and doesn't take into account any of the following instead :

-The power regen is increased on this server a lot.
-Serenity is incredibly easy to get early on. Can have Seren 2 + MCL + tireless + LW at about RR2, and all of these with Seren 3 at 2L5. Just go die on the easy realm tasks.
-cheap regen and power pots
-campfires

There's more but really who wants to do all that after every pull. Just sit and the regen is crazy. Alt tab like a normal human for a few moments and pull again, I'd lose my mind doing this over and over even to squeeze out and save, at best, a few seconds granting this is even faster ( Press X : Doubt).

Plus what camp is respawned 20 mobs after 3 recycles and ready for another pull, and no gobs don't respawn this fast. This unfortunately is someone talking theory instead of what actually happens (doesn't account for the dozens of other groups/farmers that want the same types of mobs that would pull from this camp too, everything is ideal in the calculation, perfect everything, etc).

Side note, amber is best leveling pet, the recycle people usually also say sapphire is best and it isn't, it has less hp, absorb, and its lifetap is weak and can be resisted. I know you didn't say this but I usually have to correct both of these things with about everyone that mentions the one or the other. Usually they aren't even playing cabalists here too.

These are my opinions and experience, levelled to 50 both in beta and here at launch, smoked passed all the others using the advice like above saying use sapphire pets and recycle mechanic. Even if it were better, until it was at a much, much higher degree it simply isn't worth all the juggling of all of that after every pull.
