Solo Gameplay and Buff potions

DAOC has always been my favorite game and I have to say that I'm glad we have phoenix where everything is very well planned, even better than the live version. Congrats and thanks to the phoenix team.

I have a concern about the solo gameplay aspect of phoenix. Before I invest my time and future to phoenix, I would like to learn if solo gameplay for both pve and pvp is taken care of. I have reached level 20 and I'm loving everything so far except for some server stability problems.

My only concern right now: Are we going to have craftable buff potions that will eliminate the need for a buffbot? Will they give same level buffs as buffbots?

There are craftable buff options. Some even made with Phoenix tears that can have up to 100 charges. However, devs have stated, and they're currently not equal to buffs from players. Nor will they ever be to the point of making buffing characters obsolete.
That said, the craftible buffs in game are definitely a step up from no buffs and are quite useful..

There are red buffs from charges too. However, the potions buffs here could use more QoL. They currently only on 10 minute timers.

What is the difference in numbers between buffbots and buff pots? Hope there is not much gap.

I didn't figure out the exact numbers, but pots are roughly equivalent to blue buffs.

Certainly better than going unbuffed, but if you require the absolute best buffs you either need to juggle charges or group with a buffing class.
