Replacement of Title window with new web app

I haven't played much in the last week and logged on to find the /title window disabled and replaced by a new web app.

I don't see how this is an improvement - I liked being able to see if I got solo kill credit in-game. Now I have to alt-tab.

Am I missing something here - how is this better?
