The word "casual" seems to have a stigma around DAoC. If you're a self-proclaimed casual player, you're viewed as not competitive, uncommitted, or worst of all, a noob.
Frankly, I love this game. I have since I first saw it played by my friend's older brother in 2001. I've been active since 2002, around SI's release. I was drawn in by the lore and class uniqueness, but stayed for the competitive RvR and bonds of brotherhood.
The crux here is, and I am sure I'm not alone, I don't have the free time I used to. I'm willing to sacrifice a few nights during launch to hit the ground running, but can't fit a weekly rvr schedule like I've seen some guilds require. I'm willing to fill almost any role needed, and enjoy supporting others.
I'm looking for a guild of like-minded folks who understand where I'm coming from. I'll play any realm (but let's be honest here: Mid>Hib>Alb). I'm US EST. If you think you have what I am looking for, let me know. Alternatively, if you are in the same shoes, leave a reply, and maybe we form our own.
