Latency and stealth detection

Would love to see a test done on how latency impacts stealth detection. As a 50 SB with 50 comp STL i frequently dont detect stealthers until theyre VERY close to me. However, i get run over by visis CONSTANTLY who miraculously pirouette and end up standing on me to pop me out of stealth. I often wonder if it's that I'm just unlucky but it happens so often that I can't imagine that is the case. I can only surmise that either A) they have special tools or B) latency has a significant impact on stealth detection on this shard. has anyone ever done a test on how this works? I've read other threads about melee range being effectively beyond the 256 units that it theoretically is because of latency so I wouldn't exactly be shocked if this applied to stealth detection as well (and coincidentally people in Europe having a substantial advantage as a result).

i am from europe and don't see sneaks from far away neither. When on my SB most encounters against other stealthers they are up in my face or even past me (when we are moving towards each other)

Visibles pirouetting towards your location means they saw you for just a glimpse and a circling back to where they think you are now. When you cannot avoid a group/some visi running through you then run directly into them. That way your relative speed towards each other increases and they are less likely to see you. Trying to strafe away/move to the side usually increases your risk of detection
