If you are playing from the same household and one of you has to AFK for more than 5 minutes, make sure to log out of the game as you might get tested for dual logging. If, after 5 minutes, the test fails, the ban will be applied.

If my son wants to play on his laptop and i’m on my pc as long as one of us doesnt leave the computer for over 5 mins whilst playing we can both play at the same time right?

Yes, you are right. If we want to test if there are really 2 players and one of them is afk while testing, it looks like dual loging to us and you will get banned. So if one of you needs to be afk for a little longer, you better log out.

is there like a checklist were accounts are approved that they are more players? Cause i dont want to be anxious to get banned all the time we play.

We do have internal information where we can look this up, yes.
But that doesn't guarantee that you are "clear" for the future.
If we see something very suspicious, you might get re-tested.
If you are 2 players, there is no need to be anxious

If I may, as a player with light medical issues (I don't want to be gore :p) - I would say that 10 minutes afk would be better than 5.
Now of course my kids are too young to play so I'm not yet concerned but surely I'm not the only one to be a bit too long on my short afks (one of my guildies is actually a very slow smoker).

Anyway, I'm sure you guys can show flexibility on case by case and the rule is there because it is necessary to prevent abuse.
