Haven't play this game since 15 years..

Hi guys,

Like my title said, i haven't played that game since 15years but still thinking about it often. When i saw the "new mmo" can't find in them what pleasure i got in daoc. So i found you phoenix, and wanna play again if it's possible. I do not have anymore CD of daoc or anything, so how it's working to play with you guys?

Ok my bad, i've missed somethings, english is not my native language, sorry and thanks for the help. I'm dowloading the client actually. When I read all the rules, i'm so happy to see this, it's for sure a mature server, and i'll love to play with all of you guys. Just to understand if i've good understanding, it's like "an old server", i mean not with all the extention during years? Extentions goes to frontiers or I miss understood? For my part, i've stop after ToA (and think it was frontiers but not sure)? Am i wright? Thanks

I think a lot of your questions are answered on the official Phoenix site and in other places here in the forums. Feel free to look around. There are also specific forums for other languages so you can ask for and receive help in your native language if you like.

To your question, though, Phoenix is based on the 1.65 version of the game, but there have been many nice extras added to make the experience better than pure 1.65; Once you are in-game, you can use the /advice channel to ask any questions that you have. There is also a discord server where you can get near-instant help for anything or join any of the ongoing conversations about the game.

One important thing to note: the server is in beta at the moment, and i50 rules are in effect. Check /servernews in-game for the details. Also, since it is in beta, the population is a little low right now since most people are just waiting for the release.

Thanks a lot for all this information. Yeah i'm gonna play Albion, like the OG i am lol. Just an issue i got when i dowload the client, it stop at 92% ....
"The patch client was unable to retreive the file [ base/unpacked/3bb29689e09213cf] from the patch server. Please try the patch operation again in a short while"

So can't finish the dowload . Can you help me on this issue please? Thanks a lot

Since you were able to get most of the patch, it could be a temporary network or server issue. Join the Phoenix support channel and ask over there if the issue doesn't resolve itself after a little while.

So happy to be IG.. waouu, was looking for it for years, really. I've stopped specially cause i was an OG gamer, doesn't like all the new content and everythings. Here we can smell the "real daoc". Love that
