not super excited to make this post, especially because I like the Phoenix Server so much.
However the following occured to me:
There was a heated EU/NA debate going on in /advice along the lines of political nature. Mostly the ubiquitous gender/libtard/socialism thing.
Since the discussion became heated ->
I DID make one offensive comment in /advice, which I wont hide: I did say that US could continue to suck their own C***. The lead up to this was the US raid bragging about their superiority about 27 times not an hour into the raid (TG). What is kinda funny because I said the same thing in the US TG raid and no one cared about it. (Deleted my mids after)
ALL of my other statements in /advice where purely a) giving advice to other people or b) discussing politics the same way other people used /advice. It seems very apparent that most of /adv in hib at that point was very right wing extremist leaning.
Later on I joined a group with a character called JordanPeterson ClinicalPsychologist. I won't go into depth on this since I am a psychologist myself and I really don't want to open the box of pandora discussing this. Personally I feel like he casts a bad light on our profession and as such I do not want to partake in anything related to hin. As such I told my group I would leave for political reasons.
Following these events I found myself unable to broadcast any message, most notably I could no longer /lfg xp, which as a druid made the game pretty much completley unplayable for me.
I'll be honest. I love this server and the game and it has brought great joy to me. However if I am unable to express my opinion and will get muted and unable to pursue groups because my opinion is unpopular I will no longer be playing this game.
Note: You CAN say: "but your comment was very offensive". I would argue reading advice chat all day, that MANY people more would be muted if this was the case.
