I was thinking about this too and realized I can just delete and recreate on the realm of my choice without waiting.
My names are reserved until the time I log in anyways, and I doubt anyone is going to snipe any of them in the minute or so that it takes me to quickly recreate them on another realm. All mine are on Midgard, but I've decided to go with my original plan of starting on Hibernia and playing Albion later on.
