Hello fellow Phoenix Players!

Beta has ARRIVED.

Everyone will be able to log in on the 7th of July 2018, at 7pm CET / 2pm EST.

We wanted to take the time and thank you for your interest in our upcoming Beta. This article should help break down everything you need to know. This is an actual beta, things will not be working properly, the server may have to restart unexpectedly and frequently. LDs / client crashes are to be expected as we only recently upgraded to 1.124 and probably still have a couple wrong packet interactions going on.

Phoenix Wiki:
- We have also launched a wiki page for the server. This website will grow heavily during beta and will serve as a knowledgebase for our server, especially regarding custom settings.
Example: As we will have many custom quests, you will find those, as well as the standard ones listed here when implemented.

Items that need testing/feedback:
- The effect system has been redone entirely. The effect system covers everything that can bee seen on the buff bar and concentration window, as well as, pulse spells. It's also responsible for the buff overwrite mechanic and cc immunity handling, as well as, periodic spell messages for ticking spells (DoTs and HoTs).
As such, issues here are to be expected, especially when it comes to the correct messages, please report any issues you find. There may be a more detailed post going into the reason of why it was redone later.
- The ROG loot should be in full effect. Is there too much ROG items dropping? Too little? Let us know!
- Camps. Are camps good? Do they need adjustments? Please keep in mind that, even though we did use available sources as guidelines, many camps in our world will be custom and that it is not a 1:1 replica of 1.65. We did use some creativity to enhance PvE.
- The core functionality of Keeps will be working at the start of beta.
- The faction system.
- Account vault.
- Battlegrounds. Level range and mob placement is custom. So please dont report any missing mobs, the mob placement in the BGs is intended as it is.
- The feather system.
- XP, Gold and general drop rate.
- Crafting is 90% done so far. We will publish extra infos on crafting the next days.

Work in Progress:
- Housing is still a work in progress and we are unsure if this will be ready at time of launch.
- Quests are still a work in progress.
- High Level PvE mobs are still a work in progress and are currently missing things such as scripting. There is basically NO mob scripting at the moment and any special behavior mobs will NOT work. This includes pygmies, epic dungeons, SI dungeons, etc. Please note that we will not be launching the server until all of these mobs are scripted.

Other noteworthy Items:
- Realm switch timer will not be active in the beta, you can freely switch realms by restarting the client. Might be activated near the end to test it though.
- Darkness falls WILL be open to all three realms for the first 4 weeks of the beta. After 4 weeks, the realm with most keeps will only have access.

Closing Remarks:
- We wanted to take the time to remind everyone about our Server Rules and Terms and Conditions. I can assure you that we will b cracking down on rule violators more during Beta. So please b mindful ad respectful to other players. Remember - If you run people off, you wont have anyone to fight.
