Howdy! Somehow my UI got reset in between logging chars. All my macros and settings.... gone. Everything back to default. Any ideas why this happens? A bit frustrating.

You changed stuff and went LD or booted during a reboot?

I wish it was that simple. I made no changes. My UI had been set for days. I'm just going to redo the setup and make a backup of the config file. I should have done that before... lesson learned.

Found the problem. Streamlabs OBS created an error log file that was over 80gb! It caused my SSD to run out of room so apparently the config files of the characters I logged in/out during that time were wiped. Deleted the log file and all is well again.

Even though it actually wasn't the issue in this case, the client somehow really likes nuking the config, for that reason it's advisable to set at least the user config (resolution and everything) to readonly and only make it writable (and a backup) when you actually intend to change them.

All my settings got lost last week also. My SSD was dying so I copied the folder to another drive. When I copied it to the new drive and launched it again all the settings, keybindings, and hotbars were reset. I'm guessing some of the files got damaged before I backed it up, so it got wiped and recreated.
On the upside, my Warden's hotbars were a mess, so I get to start over and make them better. Setting the Enchanter back up took almost no time at all.
