Hi all.

I have been gone a hell of a long time from daoc and im struggling to find out how I in RVR or PVE can run away from the fight while turning camera view and click someone behind me. When holding left mouse down and turning view i cant keep the camera there, because if i release the button to click someone it just immediatly changes pov back to normal.

Yelp..

in the option there is something called camera fallback or something - put it off (it is nice in PvE but indeed impairing in PvP)

Chask is right. The setting is called Snapback in the camera settings of the options.

In addition to disabling Snapback, you probably want to look in /keyboard in-game and set a key for Reset Camera to quickly allow you to flip your camera back to default view on command. There is also the /setcamera command in-game to change the default camera position. So you can /setcamera to set up your ideal forward view, use a Reset Camera bind to be able to snap to that view on demand, and turn off snapback to allow a steady camera pan view.
