trouble copying phoenix files to game directory

hi, when i copy the files, everything goes okay. then i launch phoenix.exe and log in. my screens resolution changes as if it was trying to launch the game, but then it cycles back to the log in prompt from phoenix. then when i try to launch phoenix.exe again, it dissapears from the folder??

this is super weird, can anyone help?

Most likely it's your antivirus software that blocks Phoenix from running properly; either by blocking the execution or the creation of the config files on game launch.
