Tricking Game Into Thinking your Monitor Has Different Resolution

So, after a resent crash, my user.dat file went boom and I had to reset everything back, but I ran into a problem.

Originally I played on windows mode, but to avoid the tiny text on a 4k monitor, I somehow set my full screen windowed to be 2560 x 1440.... then when I selected windowed mode with 1920 x 1200 it'd be much larger than 1920 x 1200 cause it effectively was scaled.

Mainly this increased the size of the text, which is almost unreadable at 4k.

Anyone know how I might get this back? Tried a few diff things but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Note... it may have also involved the windows 10 scaling suddenly not working, so if any know why that would occur, that might be it.

Windows 10 scaling cannot be applied to DX9 games, unless they offer that option; pretty much no games have that. DAoC does not either.
Also you cannot set a resolution for "Borderless Window" (fake fullscreen); fake fullscreen always takes the desktop resolution - no way to change that.

You have 2 ways to go for your situation.
1) Set the desktop resolution lower (to 1k or 2k) and use borderless fullscreen.
2) Use classic fullscreen and set the resolution in-game to whatever you like. You won't have instant desktop swapping in this 'solution'.

I don't know how I got it working before, and it works on live. Tried a few different thing, still can't get it working.

I found this guide that might help to add the different resolution profiles to your windows mode options. Maybe your profile got goofed up?
