The server has closed your connection ...

Hey all, I haven’t played in my laptop for a few weeks but today I get kicked at random times with

An error has occurred
The server has closed your connection
You have been disconnected
Hit each to exit game.

Similar to the link dead screen. I’ve played on this laptop lots and also wireless and wired connections at this location with no issues. I also ran the -t ping from server but nothing showed up.

Any help would be great

Thank you dude for creating this ticket. I wanted to do it I thought I was the only one disturbed by this problem.

Same here so, between 10 min and 1 hour, I m disconnected ==> The server has closed your connection.

I uninstalled the game yesterday night and did a fresh install, nothing has changed.
I rebooted my connection too. Same problem. No wireless.

Last option is to do a roll-back on my Windows, but I would like to know why we have this problem yet.

For your information : everything was great on Monday, I vent played on Tuesday, and yesterday (Wenesday), I had this problem.

Same stuff for me as well. Did all sorts of ping tests to the server and no drops. Dunno what is going on.

Edit: Also, this still happens even on a VPN.

Same here, today got this message and disconnect several times - was doing collection tasks, with occasional alt+tab to check wiki where to turn in etc. Playing from Europe, connection / latency are awesome, and the disconnect seems random, not caused by me doing a specific action or walking into a specific zone / dungeon etc.

DaoC folder is excluded from AVG list if helps.

For the first time yesterday at AMG my Hunter screen was stuttering. I couldn't even turn, then I got killed /release and all was good. It happened a few times in different spots like all of a sudden I was trying to download a bajillion things.

Not sure what happened but it did clear up after router reboot and comp reboot. Ill know more if it happens today.

I got the same Problem since yesterday. But was not online for around a week. The following things changed in this week.

i could not log in because of missing files.
I run the camelot.exe for the update and after it i run phoenix and used both fix buttons. After that i could log in again. But got kicked out around 4-5 times in around 4 hours of playing. It was only the phoenix client, discord worked without lag or disconnect. Before those 2 updates i did not have the problem.

At the risk of just adding noise at this point I'm also getting this issue. I joined the server yesterday and have disconnected both days. I pinged the server and my connection seems fine. I have also added the file location to exceptions in AVG but that didn't help. I'm enjoying my time so far I just need to reconnect every so often

I went linkdead and now I cannot get back into the game. The splashscreen loader bar gets to 95%, stalls and then I'm told to hit ESC to exit the game.
