renderer creation failed

I installed daoc live and patched all the way up. I downgraded through the fixer. I have updated all drivers. My Directx is upto date, and my windows is all updated. I have updated everything it seems like and its still giving me renderer creation failed. i dont know what else to do. i just got this laptop so my GPU is newer.

Hi!
Since you've already done pretty much the recommended steps to fix this and it hasn't worked, you can try a few more 'radical' things. First, you can open your user.dat file (it's text. so notepad or the like is ok to use to edit it) and add the following line:

%appdata%/Electronic Arts/Dark Age of Camelot/phoenix(or LoTM)/user.dat
[main]
windowed=1

If that doesn't work, you can also try just deleting user.dat and restarting (the client will create a new one for you with default values). You should make a backup of your user.dat before doing this, though.
