realm switch

i created chars on mid, but our group is thinking of going alb, (a) can i keep my names on mid but log into alb straight away or does realm switch timer apply (b) delete my mid chars and create alb chars and log straight in ?

You should be able to choose Alb from the log on screen. If it forces you to mid you can just delete your mid chars and then go to alb.

Since you already have chars made on Mid, it will start on Mid. Either wait the 12h to switch or delete all the chars, then re-make in Alb. Of course keep in mind that at server opening there will be some character creations happening and there's a chance that someone grabs the names you saved before you save them again.

It has been far more than 12 hours since he last logged on. Why would it start him on mid?
