Hi everyone,
I've been experiencing lots of crashes to desktop, i don't seem to be the only one.
For me it used to happen anywhere, In RVR mid fight, in raids, just doing PVE solo.
Then in DS it happens seemingly more frequently even.
I always thought i was the only one, but since doing a lot of DS, i hear many people saying they have it in DS, don't hear many say they get it in other places too.
To me it seems like a memory issue, either corrupt (ssd) memory, perhaps a video memory problem on the graphic card, or a memory issue in the daoc programming potentially (if it's C++ for example, maybe some parts of the code don't have the memory released properly? - just wondering as ex-programmer).
FYI, don't have this kind of issue with any other games (Age of Empires, GTA5, ...).
Just wondering if this was ever further analyzed/fixed or what might be potential problems?
To describe, your client stops, is completely shut down and you end up on the desktop. Can't log back in due to 'being logged out'.
