PMs not leaving the Outbox folder

Dear support team,

I am trying to send a PM to a forums member but for some reason the PMs do not leave the "Outbox" folder even though I hit the "Submit"-button.

However, I sent a PM to myself and that not only left the "Outbox" folder but also was to be found in the "Sent" folder, plus it was shown to me in the "Inbox" folder as a new PM.

Please be so kind as to help me figuring out what went wrong.

Hi Eisbaer!
Messages that are unread by the addressee will appear in your outbox. Once they are read, they move to the Sent folder. This gives you a chance to retract or edit a message before it is read.
