'Please check your email to verify access'

Created an account (just found the server after my wife pointed it out to me, we have separate computers), activated using the e-mail provided. Installed the game, updated using the Phoenix launcher, and... 'Please check your email to verify access.'

Ok, sure... go back to e-mail. Click the link again... and... 'You have already activated your account.' Hmmm ok.

Search forums. Find Information on the email verification. 'If it persists, restart'. Ok, sure. Makes sense. Restart.

'Please check your email to verify access.' Well poop. Restart again.

'Please check your email to verify access.' Wife recommends a fresh install. Wipe everything. Clean out the entire folder after full uninstall.

Install fresh from step 2 on the website. Restart after install completed. Login.

'Please check your email to verify access.' ^@#)*%_*@#

I'm at a loss. I'd love to play this with my wife as I'd never played DAoC, but it was one of her first MMOs so she's got the nostalgia going. Any recommendations?

There are 2 activation emails, one is just for the forum and you'll receive it the moment you register and you'll see that once.

The other is basically two factor authentication for the game access (which is the only thing the launcher is talking about) and you will receive it whenever someone uses the launcher to login to your game account from a new computer (or in this case for the first time). Have you checked your spam folder?

I am clearly an idiot and you clearly have the patience of a Saint. Thank you for being my brain on this Friday night Gruenesschaf. I misread in my haste that there was only a single e-mail. Appreciate the assist!
