Phoenix Crashed, Now I cant log on.

I was in DF with a group when I went Link Dead.
I waited a moment and then tried to restart Phoenix. The Login bar comes up and i click 'login', however then i get an eternal loading cursor and Phoenix stops responding.

I then get an error message saying

"Something interesting happened... Please try again. System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (504) Gateway Timeout. at System.Net.WebClient.UploadDataInternal(Uri address, String Method, Byte data, WebRequest&request) at System.Net.WebClient.UploadString(Uri address, String method, String data) at Phoenix.LoginForm.btnLogin_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)"

I have tried restarting several times to the same result. So Im not sure what is wrong or how to fix it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Login server is down, the one who can start it is sleeping (have to at some point...), so we all gotta be patient

Seems that problem is widespread, the server went from about 3k online to under 300 (see main site).
Hope nothing broke, I'm not sure there are people to fix it at midnight CET.

Exact same thing here. Second time it's happened..

It took me restarting my computer to get it to work the first time..might be coincidence though.

Its the authentication server IIRC.

Something is causing them to have to restart it. The server comes back quick if the right admins are around. They are working towards a fix I am sure. We just need to be patient. Server was great the past week so hopefully its back to normal soon.
