Lost Seed Quest Bug

Hi, I started the Quest yesterday with my druid. Spoke to all NPC's, killed the demon tree, returned to the Quest NPC, spoke to all NPC's again and logged out.
Today I tried to move on with it - I killed the tree again but nothing happens - The Journal says "return to Terod" I did but still nothing happens

I have noticed a history of this happening when people log off in between quest steps.
Usually if you drop the quest and start over it works.

Did you try saying "the lost seed" to Terod?

We still have a bug when you log out, LD or the server crashes while you are doing it, you have to delete the quest and start all over again.
