Login Queue Position

Hi,

I just created an account and am wondering if this queue position is normal for first login. I enter account name and password and the login screen title shows Phoenix - Login - Queue Position: 1834

Seem like its going down at a rate of about 1 per minute. This gonna take a while? Or is something amiss?
