The last week or so, I have experienced an incredible number of LDs. The began before the NF change, but has persisted. Previously, I would lose connection once or maybe twice a day, no biggie, it happens (especially maybe when my VPN swaps servers). Lately, it has become unplayable. As of this writing I have gone LD 7 times in about an hour and a half. If one connection had not been a full 30 minutes, that ratio would be even worse. I have tried not using my VPN, using a dedicated IP, and my normal best connection, as well as using both US servers (NY would be closest geographically to me) and the European ones. Have tried running phoenix launcher as admin as well.
This issue seems to be the worst between about 10pm and 2am EST. I played quite abit yesterday (Monday) with virtually no issues throughout the afternoon, after a bad LD night on Sunday.
Did something change last week that wasn't an actual game patch? Is it a server load issue, and if so, how does that compare to what seems like a less then prime time for server pop?
Other than the totally obvious ones like "having you tried turning it off and back on?", are there any useful suggestions/fixes?
Edit: Logged back in after posting, pulled some rocots with my necro after summoning/buffing. LD again, so maybe had 2 minutes before another LD.

Connectivity issues are the worst to troubleshoot, because the majority of possible root causes are out of your and our hands.

Things you can do:
1. Try a different computer to eliminate that a specific piece of... software is messing somethin' up.
2. Try to identify the party that's responsible for the bad connection, by creating a trace route.

traceroute target should be: patcher.playphoenix.online

There are various tracing tools out there; Windows a having a basic one integrated:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/314868/how-to-use-tracert-to-troubleshoot-tcp-ip-problems-in-windows

Use it at different times; also one when you're doing nothing and one when attempting to play.
Also create traceroutes to other addresses in Germany like 78.47.166.55 (hoster of Phoenix) to see if they differ.

The output data will show several lines with ms numbers and IP addresses.
Lookout for those ms numbers that spike up from one to another line.
