Launcher no longer runs on virtual machines

Extremely disappointed in the decision to no longer support mac users running on virtual machines. Wine is not a viable option for me. I guess I won't be playing any more. I would love to come back if this decision ever changes.

It's really frustrating...several level 50 toons, house, etc. I love to play, but this killed my ability to play...such is life I guess.

I guess DAoC runs on low cost mini computers though - someone here is running it on Raspberry and care to explain if it's smooth enough ?

Make sure you are running as administrator

Try running PhoenixPatcher.exe once, then try to start Phoenix.exe

If that does not work, try reinstalling the launcher from playphoenix.online

I’m running on Mac boot camp windows and this fixed the problem for me

Bootcamp isn't a virtual machine. The above solution didn't fix my problem. Still unable to play.

It runs fine on bootcamp... i'd suggest you delete BC and reinstall everything....
