Launcher is - checking files... and then nothing happens :-/

anyone with same problem and has a solution yet?
when i hit phoenix-exe it just pops the -checking files window- and then it disappears and ... nothing more
im a computer dummy ... :-P and havent found something useful yet on support center (or just blind) pls help if possible...

thank you very much for the fast respose ... i checked this thread before but i just missed the last help guide :-) so thank you it worked BUT now i have these ugly new icons ^^ well ill try to find here the solution by myself to get back the classic ones :-D
