I've read through some previous posts with similar issues where support staff indicates that the solution here is to utilize a VPN.
I acknowledge this is not an issue of Phoenix but I'm hoping someone can provide some direction or guidance on what else I can do.
When I connect to Phoenix from my home location(Jacksonville, FL using Xfinity fwiw) I experience packet loss in multiple hops when running a trace route.
I currently am connected to Phoenix via a VPN called Mudfish and have selected some nodes that average ~130 with no packet loss however I still experience considerable lag when connected to the server. About every minute or so I get a 3-4 second lag spike, this seems to happen most when new clients are entering clip range.
I'm unable to stay /stick to another player when running with any sort of speed and I have found multiple times to come back from a lag spike and be dead from an assassin.
Anyone have any ideas, a next troubleshooting step I can take or another VPN that may work better?
Much appreciated!
