Lag problems

Hi I have a problem when I primarily plays rvr, it is mostly when other players show up, so my computer freezes for 2 sec approx. all my settings are low, and i have tried to mess a little with settings but it keeps doing it... have some suggestions what it can be and possibly something i can do to fix it? because it is really frustrating.. :/

This is the true classic experience and it's called "inc-lag"

I guess you don't have a SSD? This delay sounds like loading something from disk and it was pretty common back in the days.
Try configuring your system that the hard drive does not go to sleep (if windows, go to power options).

now i have tried it with the hard drive, i cross my fingers for it to work, otherwise i will return again

Did not really work, still get some lag/freezing problems when mobs or people inc in the horizon, anything else i can do?? its really getting annoying..

Turn off defender / anti virus, start launcher as admin and see if that helped

Make sure your computer power option is running on performance mode. I had this same issue until I realized that my computers power options weren't providing enough power to my cpu. Daoc always has a bit of a loading lag, but for me it's usually around 500ms or so so it's not a large bother. I would also check and make sure that you dont have any background programs running that are sucking alot of memory.

Thanks you for your help guys it seems like it helped a litte bit last night it did not happen that much..
